CANDLE CARE/BURN INTRUCTIONS

Even though candles bring relaxation, comfort, and memories, their open flames can be hazardous. I want to make sure you get the most out of your candle and have a safe experience while doing so.

How to care for your candles, wax melts, & skin care products

Before Burning Your Candles

Trim the wick at least 1/4 inch. This will prevent uneven burning or flaring of the wick.
Keep the melt pool free of wick trimmings and any debris at all times.
Place your candle in a safe stable area.
Burn for 2-3 hours at a time. This helps the candle burn evenly.

While burning your candles

Never leave a burning candle unattended or lit while asleep.
Never move or touch a burning candle. Never move the candle when the wax is liquified.
DON'T burn a candle all the way down. For safety stop burning a candle when there is 1/4 inch of wax left in the vessel.
If burning multiple candles, make sure to place candles at least 3 inches apart.
Extinguish a candle if the flame becomes to high or the flame flickers. Let the candle cool before relighting it, trim the wick and check for any unwanted drafts.
Never burn a candle near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from children and pets, furniture, drapes, books, carpets, paper, or any flammable decorations.

Extinguishing your candle

Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the candle if available, as it is the safest way to extinguish a candle to prevent hot wax from splattering everywhere.
Do not use water to extinguish a candle. This can cause the hot wax to splatter and could also break the vessel.
Before leaving the room, make sure your candle is completely out and you don't see the glow coming from the wick ember.
Do not touch or move the candle until it is completely cooled.

When enoying wax melts

Remove all packaging and place wax melt on warmer.
Use with a unscented tealight or electric warmer.
Use warmer on a leveled surface. Do not place your warmer on/near flammable items/surfaces.
Do not add water to your warmer.
Do not burn for more then 4 hours at a time.
Never leave your wax warmer unattended. Place in safe place away from children and pets.
To melt a wax melt place on a wax warmer designed for melting wax (this is different from a candle warmer).
To remove and change scent slightly warm the wax and remove it from the warming plate, then wipe clean with a cloth or paper towel.
For easy clean up use a wax warmer liner.
